Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption Policy
Last updated:
Version 1.0, effective 22 October 2026. Owner: Lucas Pradel. Reviewed at least once a year.
This policy applies to CARIBID LLC, trading as MotionInk ("MotionInk"), and to its owner, staff, contractors and subcontractors. It is aligned with UNICEF's Policy Prohibiting and Combatting Fraud and Corruption and applies to every client, public or private, and to every tender we take part in.
1. Zero tolerance
1.1 MotionInk does not tolerate fraud or corruption in any form, in its own work or in the work of anyone acting for it.
1.2 We use the following definitions, which follow those used in United Nations procurement:
- Corrupt practice: offering, giving, receiving or soliciting, directly or indirectly, anything of value to influence the actions of another party.
- Fraudulent practice: any act or omission, including a misrepresentation, that knowingly or recklessly misleads, or attempts to mislead, a party to obtain a benefit or avoid an obligation.
- Coercive practice: impairing or harming, or threatening to impair or harm, a party or its property to influence its actions.
- Collusive practice: an arrangement between two or more parties designed to achieve an improper purpose, including influencing the actions of another party.
- Obstructive practice: deliberately destroying, falsifying or hiding evidence, threatening or harassing anyone to stop them reporting, or acting to block an audit or investigation.
2. Bribery and facilitation payments
2.1 We do not offer, promise, give, ask for or accept a bribe or kickback, in cash or in kind, to or from anyone, including public officials and employees of clients and of the United Nations.
2.2 We do not make facilitation payments. If someone asks for one, we refuse, write down what happened and tell the owner, or the client when the contract requires it.
2.3 We do not use an intermediary, agent or subcontractor to do something we may not do ourselves.
3. Gifts and hospitality
3.1 We do not give gifts, meals, travel or entertainment to employees of a client or of the United Nations in connection with a tender or a contract.
3.2 We do not accept a gift or hospitality from a supplier, partner or client that could influence a decision. Items of nominal value, openly given and recorded, are the only exception.
4. Tenders and procurement integrity
4.1 Every statement in a tender is true, and we can prove it: company details, experience, references, people and prices.
4.2 We use only the channels named in the tender for questions and submissions. We do not contact evaluators, or anyone involved in the evaluation, outside those channels, and we do not ask for confidential information about the tender or about other bidders.
4.3 We do not agree with other bidders on prices, who will bid or what they will offer, and we tell the client at once if anyone suggests it.
4.4 We declare conflicts of interest, and any link with a current or former employee of the client, before submitting a tender.
4.5 We do not hire or offer work to a former client official in breach of the cooling-off rules that apply to us.
5. Money and records
5.1 We keep accurate and complete records of contracts, invoices, payments and expenses. We do not create false invoices or documents, or record a transaction with a false description.
5.2 We invoice only for work done and agreed, and we pay subcontractors only against documented work.
5.3 We keep records for at least the period a contract or the law requires.
6. Audits and investigations
6.1 We cooperate fully and promptly with any audit or investigation by a client, including UNICEF, and give access to people, records and systems as the contract requires. Our subcontractors must do the same.
6.2 We do not destroy, alter or hide evidence.
7. Reporting
7.1 Anyone who sees or suspects fraud or corruption must report it, in good faith and without fear of retaliation, to lucas@motionink.ai or hello@motionink.ai.
7.2 If the concern involves the owner or a client engagement, or the person prefers, they may report directly to the client's own integrity or ethics office. For work with the United Nations they may also report to the Office of Internal Audit and Investigations of UNICEF through the channels published on unicef.org.
7.3 We tell the client without delay when we find fraud or corruption that affects its contract, as the contract requires.
8. Consequences and review
8.1 A breach can lead to ending a working relationship or a contract, reporting to the authorities, and recovering what was lost. Under United Nations rules, a supplier that engages in these practices can be excluded from future procurement.
8.2 The owner reviews this policy at least once a year and after any incident, and records the review.
