Human Rights, Labour Standards and Whistleblower Protection Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Version 1.0, effective 22 October 2026. Owner: Lucas Pradel. Reviewed at least once a year.

This policy applies to CARIBID LLC, trading as MotionInk ("MotionInk"), and to its owner, staff, contractors and subcontractors, and to anyone else who raises a concern about MotionInk. It supports our Code of Conduct and follows the UN Supplier Code of Conduct and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

1. Human rights and labour standards

1.1 We respect internationally recognized human rights, including those in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the core conventions of the International Labour Organization.

1.2 We do not use forced, bonded, trafficked or child labour. We engage only adults, we verify age with an identity document, and we do not hold identity documents.

1.3 We respect freedom of association and collective bargaining, and we do not discriminate or harass.

1.4 We pay at least the legal minimum and the agreed rate on time, keep working hours within the law, and keep a safe way of working, including for remote work.

1.5 We look for human-rights risks in our work, such as the misuse of the software or data we build, and raise what we find with the client. We decline work we reasonably believe would contribute to serious abuse of human rights.

2. Who can raise a concern, and about what

2.1 Anyone can raise a concern: employees, contractors, subcontractors, clients, suppliers and members of the public.

2.2 A concern may be about a breach or suspected breach of our Code of Conduct or policies, of the law, or of a client contract, including fraud, corruption, harassment, abuse, exploitation, unsafe conditions, discrimination or retaliation.

3. How to raise it

3.1 Write to lucas@motionink.ai or hello@motionink.ai. A person may report in English or Spanish, in writing or by asking for a call, and may ask to stay anonymous. We will accept anonymous reports but may not be able to follow them up fully.

3.2 If the concern involves the owner, or the person does not trust or does not feel safe using these addresses, they may go straight to an outside route: the client's own ethics, integrity or complaints office; or, for work with the United Nations, the Office of Internal Audit and Investigations of UNICEF, through the channels published on unicef.org; or the competent authority. We do not require a person to use our channel first.

4. Protection from retaliation

4.1 No one will suffer retaliation for raising a concern in good faith, for taking part in an investigation, or for refusing to do something that breaks the law or our policies. Retaliation includes dismissal, ending a contract, a worse assignment, pay or terms, threats and harassment.

4.2 Retaliation is itself a breach of this policy. A person who thinks they are suffering it should report it in the same way.

4.3 A concern raised in good faith is protected even if it turns out to be mistaken. Knowingly false reports are a breach of this policy.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 We keep the identity of the person who raised a concern, and the information in it, confidential, and share it only with those who must act on it, as the law allows. We do not try to find out who an anonymous reporter is.

6. How we handle a report

6.1 We acknowledge a report within 5 working days.

6.2 Within 10 working days we make an initial assessment, decide what to do and whether the client or an authority must be told, and tell the reporter, unless that would put someone at risk or the report is anonymous.

6.3 We investigate fairly and impartially. Where the owner is involved, we ask an independent person or the client's office to lead, and we do not investigate our own conduct ourselves.

6.4 We aim to finish within 60 days and tell the reporter the outcome that we can share. If more time is needed, we say so and why.

6.5 We keep a record of each report, the steps and the outcome, and we keep it as the law requires.

7. Action and learning

7.1 We act on what we find: protect people, stop the conduct, correct what went wrong and, where needed, end a relationship or contract and refer the matter to the authorities or the client.

7.2 We tell a client without delay of any case that affects its contract, as the contract requires, and we cooperate with its audits and investigations.

7.3 Once a year the owner reviews the reports received, how they were handled, and what we changed, and records the review.

8. Review

8.1 The owner is responsible for this policy and reviews it at least once a year and after any serious case.
