Code of Conduct
Last updated:
Version 1.0, effective 22 October 2026. Owner: Lucas Pradel. Reviewed at least once a year.
This code applies to CARIBID LLC, trading as MotionInk ("MotionInk"), and to its owner, staff, contractors and subcontractors ("everyone who works for MotionInk"). It follows the principles of the United Nations Supplier Code of Conduct on labour, human rights, the environment and ethics. It is our minimum standard in every engagement, whatever the client.
1. Our commitments
1.1 We comply with the laws that apply to us in every country where we operate or deliver. Where a law and this code differ, we follow the stricter rule.
1.2 This code is part of every contract and subcontract we sign. We ask clients and suppliers to tell us if they see us fall short of it.
2. Labour
2.1 Freedom of association: we respect the right of workers to form and join organizations of their choice and to bargain collectively, and we do not punish anyone for exercising it.
2.2 No forced or compulsory labour: all work is voluntary. We do not use forced, bonded, trafficked or prison labour, we do not hold anyone's identity documents, and we do not charge recruitment fees to workers.
2.3 No child labour: we engage only adults aged 18 or over. We verify age with a government-issued identity document when we engage anyone, and we keep only the proof we need.
2.4 Non-discrimination: we select, pay, train and promote people on merit and skills. We do not discriminate on race, colour, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, disability, age or any other protected status.
2.5 Wages and hours: we pay on time, at no less than the legal minimum and the rate agreed in writing. Working hours stay within the law and within what was agreed, and overtime is voluntary.
2.6 Health and safety: we keep a safe way of working. For remote work this means reasonable hours, the right to disconnect, and support when someone reports a risk to their health or safety.
3. Human rights and dignity
3.1 We respect internationally recognized human rights, and we do not take part in or benefit from abuses of them.
3.2 We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, threats, violence, or harsh or inhumane treatment, including sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse. Our Child Safeguarding and PSEA Policy and our Human Rights, Labour Standards and Whistleblower Protection Policy give the detail.
4. Ethics and integrity
4.1 We are honest in our proposals, reports, invoices and statements about our experience, people and results. We do not claim experience, certifications or references we cannot show.
4.2 We do not offer, give, ask for or accept bribes, kickbacks or gifts that could influence a decision. Our Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption Policy sets the rules.
4.3 Conflicts of interest: we declare in writing any personal, financial or family interest that could influence our work or a client's decision, before the work or the decision, and we step back when the client asks us to.
4.4 Gifts and hospitality: we do not give gifts, meals or hospitality to employees of a client or of the United Nations in connection with procurement. Modest, occasional courtesies between private parties are allowed only if they are open, proportionate and recorded.
4.5 Confidentiality: we protect client and partner information, use it only for the engagement, and follow our Information Security and Data Protection Policy.
4.6 Competition: we compete fairly and do not collude with other suppliers on prices, bids or markets.
5. Environment
5.1 We work to reduce the environmental impact of our work, as set out in our Environmental Policy, and we comply with the environmental laws that apply to us.
6. Subcontractors and suppliers
6.1 Everyone we subcontract to agrees in writing to this code, or to one at least as strict, before work starts. We remain responsible for their work.
6.2 We choose subcontractors with care, tell the client about them as the contract requires, and stop working with anyone who breaches this code and does not put it right.
7. Speaking up
7.1 Anyone who sees or suspects a breach of this code should say so, without fear of retaliation, by writing to lucas@motionink.ai or hello@motionink.ai.
7.2 If the concern involves the owner or a client engagement, or if the person does not feel safe using these addresses, they may go straight to the client's own ethics or integrity office. For work with the United Nations they may also report to the Office of Internal Audit and Investigations of UNICEF, through the channels published on unicef.org. They may do this at any time.
7.3 We handle reports as set out in our Human Rights, Labour Standards and Whistleblower Protection Policy.
8. Consequences and review
8.1 A breach can lead to ending a working relationship or a contract. We report to the client and to the authorities when the law or a contract requires it.
8.2 The owner reviews this code at least once a year and after any serious incident, and records the review.
